Literature Text

After a week or so Arthur had to talk to the police and he didn't enjoy talking to the them; he had to sit in the room with his parents so he refused to tell them about his sexuality, the reason behind his attacks. His parents were frustrated and just wanted him to tell them, Arthur just hung his head low and refused absolutely. Eventually he agreed to tell the police whilst his parents waited outside, they were frustrated but just wanted Arthur to be happy. The policemen looked at him with a smile on their face and gently asked him why they were bullying him in the first place. Arthur blushed brightly but slowly found his voice.

"Well-" His voice was still quiet. "Sam doesn't like me because-" This was so much harder than he thought, he swallowed the lump that was rising in his throat. "It's because-because-"

"It's alright, just take your time" The officer said softly.

"I'm gay" Arthur said barely audible even to himself.

"Sorry?" They asked, they hadn't heard.

"I'm gay" He said a little louder. "Sam used to be my friend and when I found out I was g-gay" He stuttered over the word, he couldn't believe he had finally been able to say it. "Once he found out, he got really angry with me, saying he didn't want to hang around with a guy who was gay, in case I came on to him" He told them and he felt better. He felt as though a burden had been lifted from him and he could finally breathe. "Please don't tell my parents, I haven't told them yet" The officer smiled at him.

"You did well, good job Arthur. I know that coming to terms with your sexuality can be tough, just take your time in coming out to everyone. We won't tell them but it has been recorded on here. We hope things get better for you" The officer shook his hand and led him out the door, where his parents were sitting in wait.

"Are you going to tell us?" His mother asked immediately. Arthur bowed his head and then shook it. He wasn't ready for that yet. They drove back home in silence, his parents weren't angry with him, they were just a little sad that he couldn't talk to them. It made Arthur feel really guilty but he just couldn't bring himself to tell them about himself yet. They got home and he went straight to his room and pulled a book from the shelf. His phone bleeped at him.

Hey Art, do you wanna come out 2nite? Xxx

It was from Jack, Arthur smile a little and began to reply.

I don't know, I still look really banged up.

His face was still badly bruised, the cuts had scabbed over but were healing, his ribs were still painful but his legs had improved fast and the bruises were nearly faded. He was glad that Alfred had lent him the witch hazel because it had helped wonders, his bruises fading far quicker than normal. His phone bleeped.

C'moooon it'll be fun, got a great place we can go ;D xxx

Arthur sighed a little and asked himself if he really wanted to go out with Jack tonight, after a long day at the station he was a little tired. But, he hadn't been able to hang around with Jack for a while.

Why not. Come get me?

He would go out and have fun with his friend.

OK! I'll see you in half an hour! Xxx

Arthur smiled and then called down to his mum telling her he was going to go out in a little while, she was worried but he told her he'd be with Jack. She bit her lip a little and Arthur knew she wanted to ask him what I wouldn't tell them, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I waited talking to my mother about school and the books I was reading until Jack arrived to take me out. "I'll see you later mum" He said giving her a hug and heading out the door. "So where are we going?" He asked Jack as they walked down his garden path.

"You'll see it's a surprise" Jack said smiling down at him. It was a long walk and they walked deep into town then stopped outside a bar with multi coloured flags painting its windows. Arthur looked at it in surprise and a little fear, and then his face burnt with embarrassment. Arthur knew exactly what those flags stood for and was surprised that Jack had bought him to this type of bar, let alone a bar at all.

"Is this a joke?" He asked Jack as the fear built up in his stomach.

"Of course not, you wanna go dance?" He asked and held out his hand.

"But-but, how-how did you know?"

"Well I thought it was common knowledge" He said simply.

"Does it really come across that badly?" He said with a little groan while Jack laughed at him and ruffled his hair playfully.

"Well the way you ogle Alfred all the time, it was obvious" He said with a little sadness in his voice. "Arthur, I don't think that Alfred is gay, I don't know if you should ruin your friendship. It could ruin everything if you told him" Arthur simply nodded. He knew what the consequences could be and it made him fear ever telling Alfred how he felt. Jack smiled at him again. "Let's go" They walked into the bar easily, and sat in a cramped corner near the window, that way they didn't have to walk through the mass of bodies dancing in the middle of the room. Arthur was nervous; he had never done anything like this before. Jack looked at him happily and then jumped up from his seat, he returned a little later pushing his way through the throng and handed Arthur a drink. Arthur had become thirsty with nerves and took a large gulp, instantly regretting it. He coughed and spluttered the looked at Jack with surprise. Jack simply laughed and sipped his drink carefully. Arthur finished his drink surprisingly quickly and another was set in front of him. He drunk it quickly, realising what a rush it was, what a release it was. They simply sat in the corner for a while then after the third drink Arthur felt ready to dance; he leapt up surprising Jack and then grabbing his hand pulling him onto the dance floor. Their bodies were pushed together once they were swallowed into the throng and their sweaty bodies pressed against each other as they danced to the fast beat of music. Arthur didn't know what he was doing, his mind was hazy and he couldn't control his body.

Another figure sidled up to them and slowly moved himself between Jack and Arthur; Arthur didn't even notice his dancing partner had changed. Then he felt hands on him, they were stroking and caressing him, pushing his hips closer to the dancers groin, grinding them together. Arthur continued to dance against this man without a care in the world. His alcohol addled brain didn't try to prevent him, besides for once he was having fun, without a care in the world. He felt his world getting slowly more and more blurred, and then he felt lips against his. They were sloppy and wet but it wasn't uncomfortable, Arthur kissed him back. The man's arms wound around his waist as their groins rubbed together sensually and erotically, in time with the throbbing music. Their lips locked together in a sloppy kiss.

Once the song had finished and a new one came on the man released him a little and pulled him by his arm over to a quieter corner. "Hey let me get you a drink" He said loudly so he could be heard over the music, Arthur nodded his head and then sat unsteadily on the sofa. He felt Jack sit heavily beside him a grin plastered on his face.

"Looks like you got lucky hey Arthur" He said loudly nudging him with his elbow.

"Yeah" He said with a giggle. Then he leapt at Jack hugging him close and was giggling as he tried to tickle him.

"Hey who's your friend sweet lips" The man asked as he handed Arthur his drink.

"Jack, this is Jack and I'm Arthur" He was giggling all over again, Jack and the man laughed at him. He gulped at his drink and it was gone in seconds.

"I'm Tim. Has he drunk before?" The man asked Jack over his lap. Arthur was pawing the man getting close to him; Tim quite comfortably pulled his arm around him and kissed him on the mouth again.

"I don't think so. Maybe I should get him home soon"

"No!" Arthur yelled. "I'm fine, c'mon Tim let's dance" He dragged him to the dance floor and were kissing each other for most of the night.  Jack finally pulled him away after he had got even more drunk, he could barely stand once he pulled him away from Tim who had slipped his number into his pocket as he left. Arthur was still singing and giggling when they left the bar and began to walk down the path on the way back home. Arthur was stumbling and falling around everywhere so Jack had to keep him steady, but Arthur was so unruly when he was liquored up.

"You know Jack – hic – I fink that you, are my best – hic – my best – hic – best person" He said drunkenly his face pressing against Jack's. "You are da bestest" He was giggling again and wrapped his arms around Jack's neck. Then he pushed his lips against his own. Jack was shocked but he responded quickly and slowly pulled him against the wall of a dark alley. Pressing Arthur's drunken body against the wall he stroked and felt him, kissing him softly as he kissed back. Arthur began to moan and Jack found himself turned on and pressed their bodies closer together.

"Al-Alfred" Arthur moaned between his gasping breaths. Jack stopped. Then he sighed. Arthur reached back towards him but this time Jack stopped him.

"C'mon let's get you home" His voice was sad but he wouldn't take advantage of a drunken Arthur. Arthur tried to paw at him and lead with him but Jack ignored his pleas, they reached his house after half an hour, by that time Arthur had given up trying to kiss him again and was just talking incessantly instead. He found his keys in his pocket and pulled them out for him, opening the front door.

"Help me upstairs hero" He said quietly. Jack was perplexed, why had he called him hero? Either way Jack helped him inside and eventually found his room, he let Arthur fall onto his bed and he was asleep almost instantly. Jack was sad. He looked at the snoring Arthur and turned to leave the room.

"J-Jack"

Jack's heart stopped. He had muttered his name in his sleep. He felt himself smiling and his grin got wider and wider. He still had a chance with Arthur; he left the house and stumbled his way home.
This chapter is really just a filler and leading up to something much better, so I'm sorry but i am torturing you until you get to see the next part.

Jack has a more prominent role later, and he is an awesome guy. But i feel sorry for him, because he clearly really likes Artie!!

Oh dear Artie you shouldn't be getting drunk!!
